Anniversary in Gold

     Hi everyone! I don't know what compelled me to make an anniversay card today, but i did.  We can always use them on the rack at the church.  I decided to use metal again on this card. I used a spellbinders frame die and cut it out with metal.  I really like the looks of the frame.  I won this Unity stamp set probably a year ago from a challenge and had never used it. I decided it was time. Everything is heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I also used a cuttlebug embossing folder. Card for Cardmaking

     Cardmaking at our church is this Friday.  I had already made a altered journal for us to make, but still needed to make a card and this is what i came up with. All of the stamps are from Stampin'up. The paper is from K&Company and the ribbon is from Offray. I used 3 punches for this card. (word window, designer label and a 1 3/4 inch circle) All punches are also from Stampin'up. My daughter had the great idea of adding multi-colored Nerds to the treat cups. Perfect little kids Birthday card.  Who wouldn't want some Nerds?

Autumn Harvest

   Today, i made a card with a "fall" feel to it. The weather here in Indiana is suppose to be 90 degrees plus for the next few days and i'm NOT excited.  I'm ready for the 70's and beautiful. Anyway, i used a Karens doodles image today called "Fall Wheelbarrow" and Annes digi leaves. With the leaves i decided to color them with my Prisma colored pencils and then cover them with clear Crackle medium from Ranger. The digi i also colored with colored pencils. The buttons i had in my stash and i added hemp to them. The burlap ribbon in the center is from offray. Fall is my favorite time of the year!!

Diva-tacular

     Yippee! I just received my new Kenny K stamps that i won from Michelle's Scrapbooking & More  store. Perfect timing for a Diva challenge. This is Kenny K's "Brooklyn Babe" in fall colors.  I used my Copic markers to color her and found some DP from K&Company in my stash that matched. I heat embossed Antique gold stitching along the outside edges of the card. I paper pierced around the outside of the center blocks to make it look like stitching. The metal flowers with brad centers are from Spare Parts. The border punch is from Martha Stewart. I also used the label and word window punches from Stampin'up. FUN, FUN, FUN!

Fairy Beautiful

     For my card today i used a Mo Manning clear stamp from Stampavie.  I just love these little Fairy stamps. Something about the little babies that i can't resist. I colored my little fairy with Copic markers today. The DP is from K&Company along with the butterfly sticker.  The flowers come from Prima. I embossed around the edges of the card using Ranger gold embossing powder and my "stitches" stamps. I added Pearls to the corners and strings of beads. I love making girly cards.

Vintage Masculine

     I did finish a card after church today.  I needed a card for my Brother-in-laws birthday next week, so i decided to make it manly looking. I used 2 different Digital Tuesday stamps today.  These were the 2 freebies given yesterday (Saturday).  I used chipboard and crackle paint for the embellishments and colored the digital images with my copic markers. The ribbon is from offray and i used Vintage Photo distressing ink all over everything.

Tip: I made my own gear stamps for this card and it was very easy to do.  I have the gears (Tim Holtz) sizzix die and i diecut a piece of mounting foam with it to create the stamp. I then added it to a clear block to mount it and it was ready to use. Easy Peasy!
