Hello everyone! I had intended on posting something today, but now i think i'm getting my childrens bug and i'm not sure that i will have anything. I've already been to the Rheumatologist this morning in Indy and now i'm exhausted. I hate it when that happens. Today is my sons 11th Birthday. Boy, that is hard to believe. He is my Baby!!!

The Crafty Pad

For the rest of February and a couple weeks in March, i have been asked to be on The Crafty Pads Design team as a guest Designer. The Challenge this week at The Crafty Pad is the Letter "B". You can use anything with the letter B-Buttons, Brads, Brown, Blue, Baby etc... I personally went all out with B's. I used Blue, Lulu Blowing Bubbles (digital stamp from Crafty Pad),brads (hearts), Birthday card, Bling and a Bow. I'm sure that i could have came up with more, but that is plenty, i believe. You get the idea, right? This is the card that i came up with.

A Fairy and Butterflies

Hello everyone! I wanted to get this posted today before my family goes out to celebrate my sons 11th Birthday. He always chooses to go to Red Lobster, which is great for me because i love it to. His actual Birthday isn't until Monday the 13th, but we are going to the In-laws this weekend and we want to do the Birthday dinner now while we can. Kole is my Baby and i can't believe that he is going to be 11 already. Time sure does fly by! I use to think those old ladies in the store were crazy when they told me to "enjoy them now" because it won't be long and they'll be moving out. I'm beginning to understand now what they were talking about.
Anyway, today i used a new Wags n Whiskers digital stamp that i won last week called "Angel Whispers". Isn't she and her puppy the cutest? I added Mesh ribbon, Brads, Flowers, Stem pearls, Stampin'up die, Cuttlebug embossing folders (dots) and heat embossed White and silver embossing powder along top edge of plaid paper and die cut. I also used a Martha Stewart Corner punch and added Silver stickles to the corners and center of the Brads.

Valentines for my Son

My son, Kole, has a very small class this year in his little private school. I decided really last night that i was going to make Valentines for his friends this year. His teacher likes to fly model planes, one of his friends does rodeo etc... you get the idea anyway, so these are the Valentines that i came up with for his classmates. One i haven't did yet because he is in Florida for the month of February. (Lucky Boy!) I think that his will have a Football player on it.

Example; If i want a string of fish, i will cut out 6 or so of the fish from the DP and string them on a metal cord to hang them. If i want flowers to pop up on the paper i will cut out another of that flower and use a pop dot to make it stand up more.

Spring Flowers

Hello everyone! I'm starting to think "Spring". I don't know why, it really hasn't felt like winter here in Indiana. What an unusual winter we have had. We haven't had one BIG snow all winter. I guess that there is still time though. I decided to pull out one of my old Flower Soft stamps and color it up today. It is called " Grows with Love". I colored her with my Copic markers again today.(of Course)

It's a Valentine BABY

Okay, I thought that i was not goining to make anymore Valentines, but the whole blog world is having Valentine challenges this week so, GUESS WHAT??? I'm making more Valentines! LOL. Today i used another Digital Delights image that i won a week or two ago, called "Baby Love". I colored my little baby with Copic markers again.

Okay, I just finished a card again today. After finding out that i really won a Big Shot i got a little (A LOT) Excited and had a hard time concentrating. LOL. Today, i used a Saturated Canary digital stamp called "Party Hardy". I just love these digital stamps. They are just so detailed. Once again i colored the image with my Copic markers. Which reminds me, i have to order more refills. Anyway, other items that i used to create this card include: Whimsy stamp Banners and dies, DCWV stack, Spellbinders Circle with heart edge dies, White Embossing powder, brads and bling.

I know that it is a little early to be thinking of Easter, but that is where my heart went when i saw this Gorgeous digital stamp that i won from Digital Delights called "Easter Daisy".You have to admit she is the cutest ever. I colored her with my copic markers then i added a heat embossed background using a Stampin'up Easter set that i own. From the same set, i stamped and cut out the Eggs and added the sentiment. The flower embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.

Yes, i used this stamp from Whiff of Joy again today. She is called "Confirmand Melinda". I bought and used her the first time for my daughters confirmation card that i finished and have ready for April 1st (Palm Sunday) and i couldn't resist using her again for my card today. I colored her with Copic markers R22,R24,R27.Y11,Y21,Y26.EOO,EO1,E02 and E11. I once again used my After Christmas Mesh Ribbon in red and i put Cheesecloth embossed with Sparkling embossing powder underneath. I found this tacky gold tape after Christmas also and thought that it would look good being embossed with my Cuttlebug embossing folders. (Hearts and corners) I can't go shopping anymore unless i can look for misc... unusual items to add to a card. It must be a new obsession of mine. I also used my Stampin'up heart punch and heat embossed my sentiment on.

Whoopsi Daisy Digital stamp

As you can tell by the heading i used a freebie from Whoopsi Daisy today. I haven't ever used a Whoopsi Daisy image for a card, but i can't say that any longer. I've always thought that they were adorable, I just hadn't colored one. After doing it, it won't be my last. I used my copic markers again to color the image, used many dies-Spellbinders Rectangle, Scalloped Rectange, Circle with hearts and a Cuttlebug heart die with embossing folder. The paper is from K&Company. I added Martha Stewart string, a heart charm and Brads that i've been hoarding in my stash for years.

Guess who is one of the new designers for SAS4 Kids blog? Yes,I AM!!! If you are not familiar with this, you should be. Check out the challenge blog HERE. It is a great program that takes donated cards and gives them to hospitals for kids. How wonderful is that? Being a nurse myself, i could just image the smile on a kids face when he/she receives a card from their nurse. Who likes to be sick and in the hospital? Not many. I have donated cards to this mission before becoming a DT member and it really makes you feel good to do something for others. Not because you have to, but because you can. If you have cards laying around (i usually do) why not send them to someone who can give them to a child and brighten their day.

I had one more card that i needed to get finished for February Birthdays. I did finally get it finished. This one if for my Brother-in-law. I used a rubber stamp from Flower Soft called "Birthday fishes" I struggle with "Boy" cards. They are so hard to make. This image was colored with copic markers and then the sky was sponged with Sailboat blue Adirondack ink. Other items used for this card include Offray ribbon, Sentiment from Flower soft stamp set.

My Daughters Confirmation Card

My daughter will be confirmed on Palm Sunday (April 1) this year. After 2 years of Saturday morning classes she will actually be confirmed on this Special Sunday. What a Blessing! I'm trying to get ahead on all of my upcoming special events and this is one of those. I let her decide what color that she wanted her card to be and she chose purple. This is what i came up with.
The stamp is from Whiff of Joy and is called "Confirmand Melinda." I used my Copic markers to color the image BV00, BV01, BV02 and BV04 (dress), E00, E01, E02, E11 (Skin), E15, E18, E13 (hair). The paper is from K&Company, Silver Mesh ribbon, strand beads, Spellbinders dies, Lace, ribbon, charms.

Another monthly mission project (#2)

I have a lot of cards going right now for different things, but i have to get these done ASAP so i can get everything cut out and ready for Friday. This is my second card for this Friday and our monthly mission at our church. I did a double embossing technique to create this card. I've made one similar to this before, but not exactly the same. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to make the heart on this card and sizzix flower embossing folder for the second embossing.
I used a Burgandy embossing powder also.
Other items used:
Quickutz- Key and Key hole die, Cuttlebug embossing folders (Love and corner) then inked with white pigment ink, Martha Stewart Heart border punch, and gold mesh. I did not use any Stamps!

My sons Birthday card

Well, i've been trying to get my February Birthday cards finished in advance so, i started and finished my sons card with a Bugaboo image that i won last week. It is called "Gus Hunting" and when i saw it i knew that this was going to make a perfect card for Kole. He loves everything about hunting. He did get his first deer this year. Now of course my going to be 11 little boy doesn't have gray hair, but i knew that he would love this anyway.

Monthly Mission card project

I've been busy making things to post on the blog that i forgot that i needed to come up with cards for our monthly event at Peace Lutheran this month. So, i'm getting busy! We are making Valentines this month with an option of making it something else. Not everyone likes to make Valentines. I find that hard to believe because i Love Valentines!!! I even send Valentines to my nieces and nephews in other states. It is just a nice little lift in the middle of a dreary month. Well i also add a few bucks to the card. LOL. That makes everyone excited.
I found this cute little cupid stamp the other day at Hobby Lobby and thought that it would be great for a group card. I also wanted us to use my new Spellbinders dies this month since they do have hearts on them. Not an elaborate card just a sweet and simple one

Other Supplies used include red embossing powder, glitter glue, charm, ribbon and a strand of beads.

Baby Boy Baptism

Unfortunately, I have had one of those days! I took my son to eye therapy this morning and on the way home it was snowing (wasn't suppose to until this afternoon) and I had difficulty getting stopped at a stoplight. I think the van died or the brakes stopped working appropriately and i had to stop with the emergency brake. I was finally able to get it started and going again to drop my son off at school. After that i needed a couple of things from Walmart so i decided to take a chance and go. All was fine while shopping to go out to a flat tire. I drove the vehicle around to tire lube part and had them to look at it. After sitting there for an hour "THEY COULDN'T FIND ANY REASON FOR IT TO GO FLAT!" They didn't charge me, but now i'm on eggshells wondering why the tire went flat. Onto a brighter note.

We have a Baptism this week at Peace Lutheran and i wanted to make a special card for this baby for his special day. This is What i came up with. The image is a digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil called "Baby Boy Baptism", i believe. The faux stitching was done with a stamp and white embossing powder to make it stand out more.I used a Spellbinders die frame to mount him on. I found some Ruffled ribbon in my stash, added corners using a Cuttlebug die and inked them up with my Faded jeans distress ink. I used a Cross stamp and cut it out to add to it and used Stampin'up tags to mount the sentiment on. I found the sentiment somewhere online.Sweet and Simple yet for a good purpose.

After my shopping adventure the other day i decided that i should use my new things to create this card. I just bought this digital stamp from Mo's digital pencil. She is called "With Love". I colored her with my Copic markers. I mounted her with my new Spellbinders die set (circle with heart border) that i bought from Hobby Lobby. The paper is from K&Company. The red leaves are new from the Christmas clearance section all cut up in pieces. I used a Stampin'up punch and glitter paper for the hearts. The flowers are prima with an added red with pearls in the center. The sentiment i was given at CHA show in Chicago last year by Splitcoaststampers.

Not your Typical Valentine image

After a wonderful and successful day shopping yesterday. I bought my son (2) hooded sweatshirts for $2.99 each at Michaels. I was able to pick up Halloween stickers for 14 cents and about 6 little wind up Christmas toys for next year for 20 cents each. Oh, and don't forget the cute cling stamps that i was able to get for 30 cents each. What a deal!!! I came home and got busy on another card, but i wasn't able to finish it until today.
The stamp that i chose today is another Sarah Kay by Stampavie that i had tucked away. I decided to make this a Valentine card. I know that the image typically wouldn't be used for a Valentine, but it showed "love" to me. I colored the image with my copic markers again. I mounted it with a Spellbinders frame and then i diecut a scalloped oval from the center. I used a heart punch from Stampin'up and a heart corner punch from paper studio. I used gold mesh ribbon and colored it with my White acrylic paint dauber from Adirondack. The sentiment is from the bottle cap stamp and die from Whimsy.

I love having the time to craft. I love Sundays! We go to church and usually come home and do whatever we want. That to me is the perfect day. I was able to finish this card today for my Mother-In-laws birthday. It is fast approaching. I used a Sarah Kay stamp that i had forgotten that i owned. I added alot of doily pieces and added corders with my Cuttlebug cut and embossing die. The first 2 layers of my flower are from Prima and the center is from Wild Orchid Crafts. I then couldn't resist adding some of my favorite mesh silver ribbon to the underneath of the flower. The sentiment is from Whimsy stamps and cut out with their die also. The image was colored with my Copic markers. I through a little white actylic paint with my adirondack paint dauber on the flowers and around the edges.

Pretty in Pink

Just as i told you i was going to last eveing, i used my new digital stamp from Mo's for this card again today. She is called "Winter Fairy Halla". Yesterday i colored her blue today is all pink. I just love all of Mo's little baby fairies. I own some of her clear stamps too. I hope that she makes this stamp into a clear or rubber stamp also, because i'm buying it if she does. It's a must have for me.
For my card today i used my Spellbinders frames, oval, and scalloped oval to mount my image. I used a label die from Papertrey ink on the side embossed with a snowflake border embossing folder and colored it with my Silver Acrylic Paint Dauber from Adirondack. I found this mesh ribbon at Christmas time at the Dollar general. The sentiment is from Whimsy stamps and die cut with the matching die. The Silver snowflake Confetti i found at Walmart during the after Christmas sale. The icicle die is from Martha Stewart, then i used my Snow Pen by Marvy Uchida and added art glitter to the top of that. To make the paint puff, i used my heat tool and then i decided to daub the top some with my Acrylic dauber. This card has a lot more detail then yesterdays card, but i'm also not entering it into Clean and Simple challenges today. This is going to my niece Cali for her Birthday without any doubt. She'll love it!

Simple card with New digital stamp

I finally caved in and bought this digital stamp from Mo's digital pencil too. I've been looking at it and couldn't decide whether i should spend the money or not. I couldn'nt resist any longer. I NEEDED IT! lol. It is called "Winter fairy Halla". You can buy it also at Mo's digital pencil. Isn't it absolutely adorable though? I even colored it twice. Once in Blues and once in pinks. This was as simple as i could get today. I dusted off my Cricut and Winter Woodland Cartridge for the sentiment, Snowflakes and Snowman. I didn't even get to use my Stickles or Pop dots on this card. I did get to use my Spellbinders oval dies though. Tomorrow, i'll be using the Pink colored stamp, more frills and lots of Embellishments! I struggle with clean and simple nowadays.

Snowman

Hello everyone! We are actually going to get a little winter weather here today in Indiana. We've only had about 3 inches of snow thus far here in central Indiana and i would like a little more. BRING IT ON! This is a perfect day to post a card with a Snowman on it. This is a digital stamp from Sassy Cheryls called "Bashful Buddy". I used my copic Blues to color him today (B60, B63 and B66). I love this color of Blue! It is just so bright. I used Super fine art glitter for the snow and added a heart border punch down the side layer of cardstock. I used Stickles glitter glue to add snowflakes to the image. Just a simple yet fun card.

I love,love,love this color!!!!!! I made a card a couple days ago that was monochrome green and now i decided to accept the try it Tuesday challenge at Delightful Inspirations and recycle a container using this AWESOME green paper. This paper is a digital freebie that you won't want to miss! The 2 digital images (Flower and Butterfly) are also from Designed 2 Delight from the Hope 2011 set. I colored these images with my copic markers (YG21, YG23) and added glitter around the flower and Perfect pearls to the dots. The heart border punch is a Martha Stewart. The lid i painted with a black acrylic paint dauber by Adirondack. I'm not one to make a project like this very often, but it really tickled my fancy this week to try.

This is a card that i've made using a Meljens designs image called "Cozy Winter Owl". I colored the digi with my copic markers (BG0000,BG000,B21,B23,B24,B26) used a reverse die cut and heat embossed with white powder a sentiment from a S.W.A.L.K. stamp set that i won. I also heat embossed my icicles with Holographic embossing powder. The paper is from a K&Company pad called girl scouts. This is a very simple card, but i love the final result. The Snowflakes are confetti that i found at Walmart and i Applied Distress Glitter glue on them to make them sparkle. I used My "Snow" pen on the fur of the owls hat.

Monochrome Lime Green

I really didn't intend for this card to originally be a Monochrome card, but once i got started and found all of this coordinating paper i couldn't resist. This is "Guilty May" from Mo's digital pencil too. I just think that the expression on this little girls face is adorable. Don't you? Who could resist that?
I colored this image with my Copic markers YG21,23 and YG25. The sentiment is from Whimsy stamps and a bottle cap die was used to mount it. Whimsy stamps is another of my favorites. The 4 corners are die cut from a Spellbinder set that i own called Fleur-de-lis. The image is mounted using Spellbinder ovals and scalloped ovals. I found these green flowers in my stash from Prima and added branches punched with a Martha Stewart punch. I added the center lace and was finished. I hope that you like it. Have a wonderful day!!

Sad Day

This is a very sad day for my family. Our cat "Smokey" passed away last night. She had been sick and in a lot of ways it was a blessing, but it is still very hard. My son decided that he wasn't going to church with my daughter and i this morning. His heart was breaking and he needed some time alone. When i'm sad i like to be by myself to sometimes, so we respected his wishes. He seemed to feel a little better after we arrived home.
On a much brighter note, I finished a card today. I used Meljen Designs image called "Snowboy".It was mounted using Spellbinders Square die, label die and a doily outlined in glitter glue. I colored the images with my Copic markers today, added Glitter glue and Puff paint also to the image. The base is layered with papers from DCWV and i added Confetti Snowflakes that i just bought from Walmart and then since the Meljen challenge this week is stars, i added many star buttons all over from my stash.

Kraft Card

Hello everyone, i'm so happy that you could stop by today. I colored another image with Prisma colored pencils. This stamp is one of my new ones that i received from Crafters Companion for winning the challenge at Paper Creations Ink a couple of weeks ago. It makes such a sweet Valentine. I've used it one other time already. I added the roses, leaves and another white flower to the top of the Heart. The embossing folder (on the right) is a Sizzix border and then i sanded the color off to make it stand out more. The brick embossing folder is from Tim Holtz then, i rubbed it in barn red distressing to make it red.

This is the first time that i've decided to use a precolored image on a card. I just couldn't resist this Vintage Valentine from Free Vintage Digital Stamps. She has so many wonderful digital images and the best part is that they are FREE! Yes, if you haven't been there before, you must check it out. There are many challenges that call for something "NEW" this week that is just had to come up with something using new things. The mesh ribbon i bought at around Christmas, the Spellbinders frame i got for Christmas, the Grunge flourishes i have never used before along with the stamp and the flourish embossing folder i used and sanded on the bottom of this card. Oh, I just received the White acrylic paint dauber in the mail yesterday that i colored the mesh ribbon with and i applied my new Smooch to the grunge flourishes. You wanted new, I gave you new. LOL. The doilly, border punch, Heart corner punch are old.

I really like coloring with colored pencils right now. Today i used a Kenny K stamp called "Uptown Angel" on Kraft cardstock. The paper is from DCWV. I used Papertrey Ink dies for the banner and Spellbinders to mount the image. The mesh ribbon i found at Michaels during Christmas then, i took the wire out of it to put on the card. I'm really getting quite good at dismanteling things.LOL. The sentiment stamps are from Whimsy Stamps and the flourish stamp is from Tim Holtz.

Colored Pencil coloring

My family decided to stay home for New Years. We had a friend of my daughters over to watch the ball drop with us at Midnight. We laid around, ate a lot and the kids played games and watched movies. That is a perfect start to a new year for me. I sat and colored numerous different stamps with my Prismacolored pencils on Kraft Cardstock. It was nice to just sit and practice.
This card was made using a stamp from Mo Manning and Stampavie. I used my new Spellbinders dies to create a frame and the butterfly. Then i used a sizzix die to cut out the tag which i painted with my adirondack silver acrylic paint dauber and then embossed. The lace Border punch on both sides of the card is from Martha Stewart. I added Sickles, a flower with silver string and pearls. All Done!

This is my final stamp that i won from Crafters Companion. I'm really falling in love with these stamps! They are sooo much fun! We have had company at our house so i haven't been able to post this until now.
I used papers from a DCWV stack that i already had and i bought some more of the Mesh Ribbon from the after Christmas section at the Dollar general in red and gold. I used the Red today and cut it out in the shape of a heart with a Sizzix die. I colored this image with my copic markers again. The sparkle ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Oh and we shouldn't forget the red Stickles.

Yes, i finished another card this evening. I'm not feeling the best, but Thanks to ES Tylenol i'm functioning (kinda). This card was made using another of the S.W.A.L.K stamps that i won from Crafters companion. I found a little organdy bag that i had bought after Christmas last year and tore it apart to use on the card. The Snowflakes are from a Quickutz set of dies that i had stored away. I used Copic markers to color my little ladies with again and my Snow Writer to make the fur pop up. Another fun card to make.

We finally have some Snow!

It's a little late for Christmas, but we finally have some snow on the ground. It isn't even expected to stay for long, but the point is, WE DO GET TO SEE SOME! I was beginning to think that we weren't going to get any this year. It's Beautiful! My daughter is volunteering at Winter Horse Camp today and my son is playing with the neighbor boy outside. It's a great day for me to just do what i want. I've been getting all of my donations ready for the Goodwill and playing with my stamps.
My card today was made using a new stamp that i won from Crafters Companion. It's a S.W.A.L.K. stamp called "Winter Wonderland". I colored it with my Copic markers and added Art glitter for the snow. I then cut out the image using a Spellbinders label die. I once again couldn't resist putting this mesh ribbon on my card. I just love this stuff and the texture that it adds to the card. One of my other favorites is my "Snow Writer" by Marvy Uchida. It is like liquid applique but in a pen. I used it on the top of my sentiment and on the corners.

Valentines

It's never too early to think of the next Holiday is it? I know New Years is the next, but i don't really "Celebrate" the new year. It's going to happen whether we celebrate it or not. Okay Bah Humbug!! LOL. Valentines are more fun to make. I made my card today using a Rubber stamp set created by Crissy Armstrong that i won last week from the Whimsy Blog hop. I couldn't wait to use this Elephant couple. Instead of coloring them with my markers i elected to paper piece them with 2 different colors of gray and color the inside of the ears. I just happened to have a little heart charm in my stash. I thought that it was cute between their trunks like they were giving it to one another. Fun,Fun Fun!

1 Last Christmas Card

I couln't believe how many challenges are still Christmas so i had to make just one more card. LOL. My husband just found out that he will not be home for Christmas this year so my kids were able to open a few of their gifts this morning. They didn't complain. My daughter just got a new Cell phone and my son received his new 12 gauge Shotgun for hunting. They were very happy this morning.
For my card today i used a Mo's digital pencil image called "Little Elf MIM". I just think this little elf is so cute. I elected to color everything in pastels instead of traditional colors for Christmas. The hanger on this card is a Tim Holtz Sizzix die painted with crackle paint and distressed. I then added snow to the top of the diecut. I used a new Papertrey ink die that i just received for Christmas from a friend to cut out the image. I just decided to try something new. I've never tried double embossing before until now. I really like the results. It is so easy to do to. I think that i'll have to come up with something using this technique next month for our Mission gathering. We will probably need to make Valentines. It will almost be that time.

Finally, I was able to complete a card. I've been yearning to make a card. I've slowly been putting this one together and i think that i'm finally finished. I just haven't had much time to do anything lately besides the necessary. It's amazing how you think that your ahead of the Holidays to find out that you are "WAY" behind. I finally mailed my Christmas cards yesterday. I still have to get my Niece and Nephews gifts boxed and mailed. Anyway, I can only do what i can.

Purple and Blue Christmas

This is not your typical Christmas card using these colors, but I LOVE IT! I had no idea how much i would like these colors together until i did it. The image is colored with my Prismacolored pencils again using Kraft cardstock as the base. I used "Bearly Mine" digital papers on this to. It is from the "Swirls" set that i won a few months back. I was so happy when i saw that there was actually paper to match my stamp image. This stamp is from Stampendous. It was one of those "I have to have purchases" awhile back. LOL I used my Spellbinders snowflake dies and snowflake punch then, added buttons to the centers. The banner sentiment i just had in my stash.

Hello everyone! I'm back just like i said that i would be. This is card #2 today. I just love this stamp from Stampendous. I think that it is called "St.Nick". I've used it on one other card that i've made. We also used it before for our monthly mission cardmaking last month. It is an image that i like much better colored with Colored Pencils instead of Copics. The Christmas tag is from a Tim Holtz stamp set that i have. Then i added a poinsettia from Making Memories. The whole image was stamped using Vintage photo ink and then heat embossed with Vintage Photo distress embossing powder by Tim Holtz. Fun, Fun!

Mission card #3

Okay, this is my #3 card for Friday evening now. I couldn't decide between this one and the ornament card that i posted earlier and i've finally decided that this is it! We are having our monthly gathering at Peace Lutheran this Friday from 6-9pm to finish Christmas cards.
This card was rather easy to make, but i loved the results. I really like Monochrome cards, especially in browns. I used 2 different stamp companies on this one. Stampin'up for the trees and dove stamps and Whimsy for the Postcard and postage stamp sentiment. I embossed it all with my Distress embossing powder by Tim Holtz (Vintage Photo) This card is Sweet, Simple yet Vintage.

Pink and Blue Wonderland

Hello, I'm so happy that you could stop by today. I have a card that i just love. It must be the colors and the little Angels are adorable. I found this stamp at Hobby Lobby. It is from Stampendous . Of course, i just had to use my new Whimsy Banner stamps and dies too. I colored my little image with my Copic markers and added stickles glitter glue to the little wings of my Snow angels. I mounted my image using the Spellbinders labels and my new Fabric paper(pink) by DCWV. This fabric paper comes with an adhesive backing and i just love it. What a great idea! I punched my random snowflakes and added stickles to them too.

My new Banner stamps

I just received my new banner stamps from Whimsy stamps and couldn't wait to use them. As i was watching Surviver last night i stamped and cut these out. I can't decide which card that i should make for the monthly mission gathering on December 9th. the last posted card of this one. I do love making Christmas cards. I didn't realize how much until recently and no 2 cards are the same. I don't like making the same card more than a couple of times anyway. Weird huh?
This card was made using another DCWV paper. I used Stampin'up ink (Purely Pomegranite and Wild Wasabi) this time. I really like these colors together. I added some silver stickles around the banner sentiment at the bottom and run silver string through the Pennants.

Mission card #3 ???????

YES, another Christmas card. I'm trying to make some smaller cards now. The other square ones cost a lot to mail and i don't want to pay an arm and a let to mail them. I really do love square cards, but paying 20 cents more for each card when mailing so many gets very expensive. I'm still in my "frugal" mode. My husband won't get his full pay until January, so i'm really trying to behave.
My card today is another "ornament" card. I've been trying to decide what i'm going to do for my 3rd monthly "cardmaking" mission card at the church and i think that this may be it. I cut out the ornament using a cuttlebug die. I then embossed with a snowflake embossing folder the top part (red) of the ornament. I found this great tinsel at Michaels yesterday and decided to add a piece of it to the top to make it sparkle a little. Okay, I know it all sparkles. I found some half pearls in my stash and painted them with Tim Holtz acrylic paint and then added stickles.

Stress of the Holidays

I'm almost finished buying Christmas this year. I'm trying to be more frugal this year with my husbands job change and less finances coming in right now. I've always been one that thought they were finished and then would buy just a little more, but not this year, I'm sticking to my budget. I need to finish stocking stuffers, my daughter and a couple little things for others and then i will be DONE! I love that word, it makes the Holidays so much better and relaxing.
I made a card last night using 2 of my Bugaboo digital stamps that i won from the Fussy and Fancy challenge blog. They are called "Ava Christmas Sitter and Fur Tree Bench". I just love how this turned out. I used liquid applique, glitter and stickles for all of the shimmer. I colored the images with my Copic markers. The die is from Stampin'up and the paper is from DCWV. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Mission card #2

This is the second card that we will be making at our monthly cardmaking mission gathering on Dec. 9th. at Peace Lutheran. I really wanted to make a "ornament" card this time, don't ask me why. I just wanted to. LOL. This card isn't exactly what i had in mind, but it will have to do. My computer still isn't working the best. I can't figure out what is wrong with it. My husband has been trying to figure it out also. I'm sorry that i've been missing, but with the computer and my busy schedule it hasn't been possible.
This card was made using various Stampin'up products (Stamps, Sizzix Die). I used a circle punch for the ornament and embossed with a quickutz die and then added Liquid pearls. The postage stamp is from Whimsy stamps. I just got a set of these and they are so much fun. I added stickles glitter glue and distressed with Adirondack ink. I'm finally getting my crafty MoJo back, i think. I've not been in the mood and now i'm starting to think about what i'll make next. I love it when that happens.

Kole's First Deer

This is my sons first time "hunting" for a deer that he was allowed to shoot. He is so proud of his first deer that i just had to share. Kole is 10. He spent an entire week trying to get a deer. After school, each evening, he and his dad would head to the woods. On Sunday morning, he was finally successful! Not the Big Buck that he wanted, but a small doe.

Mission Project #1

This past Friday was our monthly mission get together at our church and it was such a huge success that we decided to do it again in 2 weeks. That is Friday December 9th from 6-9pm. We are busy making Christmas cards. This is one of the cards that we will be making. Yes, another Telescoping card for me. I just love making these.
This card is made using K&Company DP, Spellbinders and Nellies Dies, and a Border punch from Stampin'up. All of the stamps on this card are from Inkadinkado and are colored with Copic Markers. The Snowflake on the top was made using my Spellbinders dies and glitter felt.

Thanksgiving

I just love this digital stamp by Crissy Armstrong.It is called "Stuffed Turkey". This is only my second Thanksgiving card this year. I've been so busy Couponing and making family Birthday cards that i haven't had a lot of time to color Turkeys. LOL. I colored this digital stamp with my copic markers. I found the leaf at the dollar tree and it had 50 in the bag. I added a little glitter glue to the edges of the leaf and for the dots at the bottom. The sentiment stamp i found at Walmart yesterday for a whopping 24 cents on clearance. It actually came with 3 sentiments and some bling. I can't resist a bargain. I also used the label punch from Stampin'up to mount the sentiment.

Finally, My Moms Birthday card

As you can probably tell, my moms birthday card is finally finished. I decided to make another "telescoping" card. I found this cute little birthday stamp from Prima at Hobby Lobby yesterday and just knew that i wanted it. It reminded me of my 2 kids and the best part is that it was only $1.99. I'm in a real frugal mode right now. I've been couponing like crazy. If you like coupon deals you should check out http://www.couponmom.com/ It's a really neat site that tells you what you have coupons for and what store the item is on sale at. It has store listings like Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and Krogers etc... I've been stocking up on items like Toilet paper, paper towels and canned goods for the winter.
Anyway, my card today is using Designer paper from S.E.I, a lot of Spellbinders and Nellies dies all layered and held together with small pink brads. I colored my new Prima stamp with Copic Markers.

Sweet and Simple Christmas card for Friday

I wanted to use this stamp again that i won from "The Craftman Challenge" for our monthly Mission workshop this Friday. It is called "St.Nick" from Stampendous. This stamp is a little difficult to color, in my opinion, so i came up with a way to use it and not have to color it. I just stamped it onto a piece of patterned paper and then embossed with a Sizzix folder over the top of the image. I then distressed the edges with distress ink. Very simple!

My Nephews Birthday card

My Moms and Nephews Birthday is next Friday (18th) so, i've got to get their cards finished. This is what i came up with for Chase. He plays the guitar and he's going to be 16 so i thought that a "Hottie" would work for his card. My daughter didn't like it that i was putting a cute girl on his card. I guess maybe she doesn't want him to be interested in girls yet. LOL.
This is a Kenny K rubber stamp that i have called "Uptown Angel'. I found the pattern for the guitar somewhere online and Pieced it together. The background paper is a digital paper from Bearly Mine Designs. I colored the image with my copic markers.
I made the sentiment on the computer and mounted it on Spellbinders oval dies.

My first book card

I wasn't sure that i would like this project or not, but after i got moving on it, i finally do. I had a really difficult time finding a tutorial that i liked and could work with. I finally just watched some youtube videos and gave it a shot. I used my new Stampendous rubber stamp that i won from the "Stamp Man" challenge about a month or so ago. It is called "St.NIck" I started coloring the image with my Copic markers and hated it, so i stamped it again and colored it with my Prismacolored pencils. I like the results much better now. I have this Awesome "Country Christmas" stack of paper from Hobby Lobby that i used on this project. I used the Snowflakes Cuttlebug embossing folder on the front of this card and sanded it. I really like white cored paper so that i can do this with it. I also used a Paper Studio snowflake border punch and a corner punch from Martha Stewart. I made the Pinecones with a flower punch that i had and added liquid applique. The base for the pinecones is a set of Spellbinders label dies.

Cardmaking monthly project

I've finally gotten started making my cards for our monthly mission gathering on the 18th. I just finished this card last night. It is a "To Go" coffee mug that can be just a card with a sentiment inside or a gift card holder. I've been in the coffee obsession mode lately. I bought myself a new Keurig coffee maker with my birthday money a couple weeks ago. It's really nice! I'm certainly getting my moneys worth out of it. LOL
Anyway, back to the card. I used kraft cardstock for the base of the card, stamped it using a snowflake stamp that i found in my stash of stamps. I pulled out my dusty crimper and crimped the middle part and added a Stampin'up stamped label to the center punching it out with a scalloped circle and circle punch. Not in the crafting mood

I don't know what is wrong with me, I can't make myself complete a card. I'm really struggling! I hope that this doesn't last long. I really count on the relaxation of creativity in the evenings . I've been in the couponing mood though. I guess that is good at least i'm saving money. Well, not really, i've started buying Christmas. I 've actually finished buying for a few people.
I did finally finish a card today after many hours of attempting yesterday. This is a Kenny K digital stamp called "Mrs. Claus". I colored her with Copic markers and added liquid applique to her "fur" areas. I embossed the green cardstock with a Spellbinders snowflake embossing folder and then sanded it to make it white. I used a Martha Stewart corner and border punch along the edges of the mat for Mrs. Claus. I found the felt poinsettia in the Christmas department of Hobby Lobby. The package came with 10 flowers and they were half off. What a great deal!

I can't believe how close Thanksgiving is. This year has flown by. I can't believe that it's only 2 weeks until Thanksgiving. This card is a Thank you card with a cute little Turkey from Karens doodles. I colored him with my Copic markers. I mounted him on Spellbinders and Nellies dies. I made a banner for across the top using my Whimsy stamps and
dies that coordinate. Then, i put them together with little white brads.

Tissue Box Crazy

The funny thing about making these tissue box covers is that i laughed when my friend Cindy came out with 5 Boxes for examples and now i'm addicted. I've made 2 horse boxes for my daughter and her friend and now this winter one that i'm posting. They are just so easy to make and i've been buying $1.00 Scotties brand tissues at the Dollar tree, so they aren't costing much to make and give away. Everyone "NEEDS" one for Christmas this year i think. LOL.
On this box today i used printed cardstock from a Country Christmas cardstack from Hobby Lobby and i added Spellbinder die Snowflakes. I also added liquid pearls to the centers of the snowflakes on the box. Very Simple and a lot of fun to make. I'm really struggling to make a craft project everyday right now. I can't get in the mood. Hopefully i'll get started again soon. I'm wondering if my Thyroid is misbehaving again because i'm more concerned with sleep. I hate it when that happens!

I'M THINKING OF CHRISTMAS

Hello everyone! I made my first Telescoping card. You can find the tutorial HERE. I decided to put mine on a acetate card. I wanted to put branches on it to look like a ornament on a tree. The branch stamp and the little snowman hanger stamp are from Stampin'up but the cute little elf stamp is from Mo's digital pencil and is called "Little Elf Mim". Isn't it the cutest thing ever? I colored it with my Copic markers. I used my spellbinders circle dies and snowflake dies along with my Nellie dies. I put liquid applique on my little elfs fur and then added glitter while wet. Just a little different for a card, but a lot of fun.

Tissue Box

     Okay, My friend Cindy has gotten me started on Tissue boxes now. She had the ladies make these at our mission event this past Friday evening and i had never tried one before. After watching all of these women making theirs i decided to come home and try one myself. They are kinda addicting. I made 2 immediately. You can find the tutorial on Splitcoast stampers HERE.

      I used a digital set of papers from Shabby Princess called Autumn Spice. These were FREE! This is another site that i would reccommend you going and checking out. HERE is the link. Now you have no excuse not to go check it out. The tag was also part of the freebie set and i added the sentiment "God Bless You". Then i colored the digi leaves from Delight Inspiration with my Prisma colored pencils. I found some leaf ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon in my stash and added it to the lid bottom.

Christmas Card Challenge

This is my last card for the Christmas Card Challenge blog as Guest Designer for the month of October. The Challenge this week is Liquid Applique. I love Liquid applique! It is so fun to use. Go check out the challenge this week and play along.
I used a Karens Doodles digital stamp this time called "Christmas Kitty". I used the liquid applique on the "Fur" of the Santa hat and coat. The paper that i used is from a Country Christmas stack that i had in my stash. The flowers are made using a die from Heartfelt creations. The Branches are a punch from Martha Stewart and the Flourishes were made using my cricut. I added a bottlecap for the "metal" challenge and center is from a set of bottlecap sentiments that i bought at the Covered bridge festival this year. Oh, my kitty was colored with my Copic markers.

Winter Scene

This is the card that i came up with while trying to get my guest DT card finished for the Christmas Card Challenge blog. I made 2 different cards at the same time and had to decide which i wanted to submit for the DT. I decided to go ahead and publish this one today. I can't believe that Christmas is coming so fast.
For this card, i used a Delicious doodles digital stamp called "Snowy mailbox". I just won this digital stamp and couldn't wait to use it. I think that it is a great winter scene and i loved the idea of making a Gatefold card with windows. I colored the image with my Copic markers and added a lot of glitter and Liquid Applique for the snow. I put Acetate in the windows so that it looked like you were looking out the window at this beautiful scene. I hope that you like this card.

It was driving me crazy, there are so many more Halloween challenges that i haven't played in. I posted my last Halloween card the other day and now i made another. I used a digital stamp from Spyders Corner and digital paper from Paper Printables. I also used a fence border punch by Martha Stewart, a bottle cap from a beer (recycled), and webbing. The image is colored with Copics(N3,N6,N8, YR04,YR06). I heat embossed the spiders webs and the sentiment inside the bottle cap with white and black embossing powders.

Crazy Life

Hi, i'm sorry that i haven't been able to post daily lately. My husband is starting a new job and my life is Caotic. I've already been to the Orthodontist with my daughter. I have to Pick up my son from school early and have a Parent/Teacher conference. All of this before 12:30p. I've also been trying to get my house "Clean". I don't mean the everyday type cleaning i've been doing the more intense cleaning. My big job this afternoon is the REFRIGERATOR and cleaning my kitchen cabinets off. YUCK! All necessary, but not fun.
I do have a card for you today though. This is a Kenny K digital stamp called "Alice Chains". This is the first time that i've colored her. I used my copic markers again today. I embossed the background with dots using a Sizzix embossing folder and then i colored the dots with my Silver Tim Holtz acrylic paint dauber. I found a scrap of glitter paper to use and then embossed it and colored those dots with my black Distress ink pad, added some chains with brads, colored some Confetti flowers with my markers and there you go my card.

My last Halloween card

This will be my last Halloween card for this season. I think that i've made enough! On this one i used a digital stamp from Sassy Studios. Her name is "Bewitched". She reminds me of the Beautiful witch on "The Wizard of Oz" for some reason. I again used my Inkadinkado Spider and web stamps for the background. I found the cool Adhesive webbing at the Scrapbook booth at the covered bridge festival last Friday and the awesome red paper is from Bearly mine again. I've never really liked digital papers until now (for some reason) but now i can't stop using them. I colored this image with my Copic markers (R35,R37, N3,N6,N8,Y11,Y23,Y26,E00,E01)

     Hello everyone! I'm sorry that i've been M.I.A. I always feel horrible when i can't post a card for a couple of days. Things in my life right now are CRAZY! You wouldn't believe my schedule if i told you. I'm Exhausted just thinking about this next week.
     This is a easel card that i came up with using the "Recipe" at The Christmas Card challenge blog this week. I'm the guest designer for October. I'm really getting my Christmas cards done now! Watch me go! LOL
     I used Digital papers again from Bearly Mine, Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and a goose digital stamp from Beccy's Place. I just knew that this was the bird for me once i saw it in my computer stash. Everything is outlined in stickles glitter glue and the poinsettia flowers are from Making Memories. My goose is colored with my Copic markers.

WARNING-If you don't like spiders you won't like this card! LOL. Okay, it isn't that bad. I was so excited when i found the perfect spider for my card online at Paper Printables and it was Free. I used Black Fun Flock on it to make it fuzzy. You should go and check out this site. You never know what you might find that you could use. I also found these awesome digital papers at Bearly Mine Designs for free. I've won some of her papers before to and they are very pretty. She has a whole lot of freebies at this link. It is well worth going to see. The Happy Halloween sentiment is from Inkadinkado. The lace i colored with my copic markers to make it black. Then, i added a couple little black flowers that i had in my stash. This card is definetly going to my Nephew! I think that he will love this spider.

A little gift set

Hello everyone! I've been busy cleaning my house this morning and decided to take a break to check my blog. My son is on fall break, so he is home with me today. My daughters break is Thursday and Friday. It's kinda nice to have each one home at different times. I took Kole to the Covered bridge festival yesterday per his request and my daughter wants to go on Friday with my niece and sister. They both will have to spend a day cleaning up their rooms too. I try not to push them too hard when they have school work to do. The break came at a much needed time.
The Project that i made to post today is a little decorated tealight inside a explosion box. I think that this will be one of our projects for our monthly mission get together on Oct.28th. I just thought that they were so cute i couldn't resist trying them. I found the tealights at the dollar tree 3/$1. What a great deal! I was thinking that they would make great token Birthday cakes and since it is fall that it should be fall colors. The paper that i used is from DCWV and Amber Autumn stack. I used leaf and branch punches for the top of the cake, a scalloped circle punch and a Spellbinders leaf die for the card. I used Orange stickles around the Leaf and Red grosgrain ribbon around the box.

Scary Halloween

This is my version of a Scary Halloweeen card. I used my new Tim Holtz stamps the i won at Oozak and Simon Says Stamp. I just received these a few days ago. The ticket stamps are called "Odds and Ends" and the skeleton and Barbed wire are from his "Trick or treat" set. The paper is also a Tim Holtz stack. The Spider web and spider are from a mini Inkadinkado set that i have. The grave stone is from a sticker set that i had in my stash. I did a lot of heat embossing on this card. I used white and grey embossing powders. I haven't embossed forever and all of the sudden i'm back into it again. It's funny how you go through stages.

Yes, another Halloween card! I can't believe how many Halloween challenges that there are right now. How AWESOME is that!!! I love to make Halloween and fall cards. I love the colors and everything about it. I even like scary movies.
This card was pretty easy to make and i used different stamps together to get the effect that i wanted. The cute little kitty is a digi stamp from Designed 2 Delight, the sentiment is from Tim Holtz and the spider, web and witch are from Inkadinkado. I colored the kitty with my copic markers and heat embossed the Witch and Spider. The orange ink on the sentiment is Pumpkin Pie from Stampin'up.

Design Team Card

This is the card that i came up with using the "Stickers" theme over at the Christmas Card Challenge Blog starting tomorrow. I'm Honored to be the guest designer this month. I used Ornament stickers that i found in my stash on my card from K&Company. I added a little Stickles glitter glue to outline the card and a little more to the ornaments. Then i added silver string (from my stash) to make the bows and that was basically it. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado mounted on Spellbinders label dies and the DP i found in my DCWV stash.
My son had his last football game today. The playoffs started and ended for our team today. I'm so sad! I love watching his football games. My schedule just opened up a little today though. No more practices during the week. That, i am grateful for.

This isn't the best picture ever, but it is sooo hard to take pictures of glitter and or sparkle.

Z-Fold leaf Card

I bought these orange doilies at the Dollar tree a couple of weeks ago. I decided that it was time to make something using them. I'm really loving Z fold cards lately so i decided to make a leaf Z fold. I struggled with what to put on the front though. My daughter suggested the stickles and i'm glad that i listened to her on that because it really makes the leaf shape stand out. The image that i finally chose is from Designed to Delight.
I won't be able to post a card tomorrow. Tomorrow is the beginning of the Covered Bridge festival in Parke County. If you are from Indiana, you know what i'm talking about. It is Awesome!! My mom, sister and i always go the first day. I have for years and we can't break tradition. LOL.

Not your Typical Christmas Card

How many Pink and green Christmas cards have you seen? Not many, I'm sure. This cute little Elf is from Make it Crafty. This is also my first Ribbon Flower that i've attempted. It was much easier then i ever expected. I added clear stickles around the outside and here and there on my card to make it "glitter" and Shine. The image is colored with Copic markers.
My son has been home from school not feeling the best today, so we've just kinda laid around. We watched "Return of the Living Dead". He has never been allowed to watch a scary movie before so the two of us watched during the light of the day. Nothing is as scary during the day.

Fall Colors

     Hello everyone! I just got home from MOPS after lending a helping hand with a craft that i came up with for them to make. I think that it was a success. I miss those days. I use to go to GEMS when my kids were little. They are great groups for mothers with Preschoolers. Who doesn't need some adult conversation when you have little ones?
     Cardmaking is my therapy. I have a lot on my plate right now with concerns in my life. Things are changing with my husbands job and the structure of our home life. This blog and making cards is the only thing sometimes that keeps me going. Isn't it funny how certain things can do that for you? I'm just glad that i have something that brings me so much peace.
     Anyway, I did finish a card today. I used a Kenny K rubber stamp named "Brooklyn Babe". The colors of course are fall, but without your typical "fall" image. These are probably my favorite colors anyway. I just love Fall! The papers that i used on this card is from a DCWV stack called "Amber Autumn".
I added a cork buckle and some orange ribbon to the center and i added Buttons to the 4 corners. I used a border punch from Martha Stewart, label and word window punches from Stampin'up. I figured that this would make a cute fall birthday card.

Inspiration Challenge at Christmas card

This is my card for the Inspiration photo at The Christmas Card challenge. I am the guest designer during the month of October. I can't believe that Christmas is only a little over 2 months away. Time certainly has been flying by. I've attached a photo of the Inspiration photo for you. Hopefully, everyone will be able to play this week and get a head start on those Christmas cards.

This is my card that i came up with.

I used Stampin'up stamps for the tree, wreath, and the window. I then colored those with my copic markers. I added silver and white half pearls to my tree and a ribbon to the top of the tree. The window has acetate behind it with flower soft to make it look like snow in the window. It is really hard to see this i know. Anyway, it isn't your typical Christmas card, but i really liked the end result.

For my first card i decided to use Meljens Designs digital stamps. The cute little corner spider on the inside is the freebie for the week at her challenge blog. I also used "Happy Haunts" and "Cat O Lantern". The DP on this card is from Martha Stewart. The Spider webbing i bought at the dollar tree, the bats are stickers and the spider is a Inkadinkado stamp. I found this Trick or Treat ribbon in my stash. It's from Oriental Trading.

I can't believe the number of Halloween and Fall cards that i've already made this year. I just mailed some to Sending cards 4 kids and now i have more. This one today is no exception. I just love this rubber stamp, but i don't remember where i bought it from and it doesn't say on the wood who made it. Anything country or vintage right now is right up my alley. The DP is from DCWV, the leaf is made from a Spellbinders die, Ribbon is from Offray and then i used Hempf twine for the bow. That's it for today. Thank you for stopping by.

Giving Thanks

Hello, I have a card today. An Autumn Turkey! My card is a little different today, i did not "color" anything. Instead, i alcohol inked a background and stamped Directly onto it with Stazon ink. I used Orange Marmalade stickles on the punched leaves and along the outside of the card and then used frayed Burlap stickles on the edges of my Doily. The sentiment is a rubber stamp from Seeing D's and the turkey is a rubber stamp from "Inkadinkado". The branches were punched from a Martha Stewart border punch.

Sweet Little Ghost

Little Witchy

WOW! What a weekend i had. I feel like i haven't stopped in days. Our school had its annual Rummage sale on Saturday and we made $850.00 in about 7 hours time. It's amazing! My son had his football game on Saturday morning and won 16-0. It was my Birthday yesterday (# i don't want to talk about) and i went to a Birthday party for my Grandma who i believe is 85 actually today. It was a surprise party and she surprised us by showing up with my uncle a half hour early. LOL.
I did find the time to make a Halloween card last evening though. This is the "little Witch" from Spyders corner. I colored the image with my Copic markers. Used a Stampin'up border punch and 2 circle punches. Added wiggle eyes to my pumpkin skull container and some of the eyes on the paper. The glitter brads were given to me for my Birthday from a friend. The Spider on the "BOO" sentiment is confetti.

Yes, I am this month! I'm am very privileged to have been asked to be a guest designer over at the Christmas Card Challenge Blog this month. You should go check it out and play in the weekly challenge. This week the challenge is "Tags". You could make a tag, add a tag to a project or just make a card with a tag on it (That is what i did).
I used my new Heartfelt Creations rubber stamps with matching Spellbinders labels #4 to create my Poinsettia in the middle of my card. I used Gold Christmas string and a Ribbon, added a Santa Claus tag to the bow. The Glitter is Gold Stickles for the edges of the Poinsettia and the edges of the card. I did use Barn door distress ink to color the poinsettia.The DP is from my new Tim Holtz stack. Take a look!

Fall leaf Box

Okay, this is the little box that i came up with for the local MOPS group to make next week. I used a Sizzix die to cut out the box itself, DP from DCWV, a leaf from the local Dollar Tree with glitter glue along the edges and a Stampin'up sentiment punched out with my circle punches. Sweet and simple, right? The best part is though, Is that it's filled with Candy Corn!
I'm sitting here at the computer thinking about what the rest of my afternoon and evening includes while watching people buy our honor system pumpkins. Pumpkin business has been good so far this year. This is a picture of my husband and children. Once our little wagon gets low on Pumpkins, back to the field they go to restock.

Another Halloween card

I do love to make Halloween cards! This one is a fairly simple one. I used a free digital stamp from Stampers Best called "Halloween House". I made my own Ghosts with a Quickutz Ghost die and Shrinky dinks.I colored them white with a White paint pen. The paper i used is from a DCWV stack. This card is perfect for the Black and white challenges this week that you see below.

This is the all black and White version good for the Outlawz CAS challenge.

This is the version with Black, white plus one. I used Yellow liquid Applique for the moon in this photo.

Yes, I know that my blog is a little loud in colors right now, but i kinda like it. I'm sure that it will only be temporary. I don't like to keep it a certain way for very long. I am hoping to have a project finished here today, but i wanted to share my daughters school picture right now.

I can't believe how wavy her hair has become. She use to have very straight hair and now it seems to be getting curly. Her bangs (when she leaves them down) are very kinky curly. My husband and my mom have very curly hair and Mother-in-law also has some wave so she gets it honest. It just seems odd for her to make it 12 years before it decides to curl. Now i wonder what my sons will do when he is this age. You never know. She is my princess!

Hi everyone! I know, i keep getting later and later on my posting. I just can't seem to keep everything caught up enough so that i can play and make cards. Today i used another Designed 2 Delight digi called "Autumn Mums". I attempted to add Crackle medium to my vase 2 times after coloring with my Copic white and it would not stick. It just decided to crackle and fall off.
