A Day At the Beach

     What i wouldn't do to go to the beach right now. I love playing in the waves.  When i was a kid we'd always go to the ocean in Florida at least once a year. I can remember all of the fun that my sister and i would have playing in the sand and the water.

     For this card i used digital stamps from 2 different companies that i thought would work together. The Beach scene and the flip flops are from Making our mark and the beach princess called "Summer Lovin" from Stamp Insanity.  I'm still practicing with my colored pencils.  This, i actually colored without my Gamsol. I found a nice drink button in my stash and i had picked up small shells from the beach the last time that i went for my cards and decided that it was time to break them out.  I used the word window and label punches from Stampin'up. The swirl embossing folder is from Cuttlebug. The water paper is from DCWV.
