You won't believe what we had in our Garage

Last evening, before bed my son goes to the garage and there is a Fawn laying in the corner.  It couldn't be over a few weeks old and it had a open wound on it's back hind quarter.  It could still walk and move around it was just resting in our GARAGE!!  We tried to clean out its wound, but it didn't work very well. It was WAY too big. I think that it is going to die, but it was just really a surprise to find a baby deer in our garage.  This morning we opened the door and it left. It's mother had to be somewhere out there looking for it.  What a experience!

Anyway, onto my card.  I used Karen's doodles stamps today.  Her challenge is to use 2 or more stamps on a card. I don't know why i always get in the colored pencil mode when it comes time to make a card for her challenge lately, but i did it again.  I used "Fisher Dad and Fisher Girl" I know that there is a stamp that has both of these on it, but i don't own it.  I own the 2 different ones. I bought this fishing paper a couple of weeks ago from Archivers. I decided to use some of my stash of eyelets and some hempf string.  I cut out the little lures from paper and used Crystal Lacquer over them.

  11. Deonna,
I love your card--it is absolutely gorgeous--your coloring, the glossy, each detail--but you made me cry over the fawn. I pray that God touched him and healed him and he is not suffering.
