Distressed ink coloring

     I was in the mood to try something different for my coloring.  I don't get in the mood that often,because i love my Copics, but i was yesterday. The stamp is Cheeky Boy from Stampavie. First, i embossed the image in black on a piece of Watercolor paper. I used Tim Holtz distressed ink in a variety of colors with a watercolor brush to color.. I have some of the refills, but not all.  The refills work easiest. I just put a little drop in a watercolor tray and dab just a little with my watercolor brush to lighten it as i put it on the paper. The best part is that you can add more water the lighter that you want it and you can always add more ink to darken. This was my first attempt, but i think that i will do it again in the future.

    Lovely card Deonna! I love colouring with my distress inks too, but mine always looks far too washed out - you've inspired me to go home and try again, only with even less water than I do already :)
    BTW I love your bunny, my Mr 6 is absolutely enthralled with your raining eggs and the Easter Bunny sitting on the screen!
