What is Happening????

I can't believe some of the things that i'm experiencing right now.  The Little Private School that both of my children went to is Closing its doors for the elementary age kids and My mom fell and broke her Humorous. No, it's not even funny!!!!! What a Sunday i had! My son is going to be heart broken. He still had one year at Peace before he would move onto Middle School and now he won't get to finish there. I kinda had a bad vibe about all of this, but now reality has really set in and yes i'm angry.  I did pray though, before the decision meeting, that the Lord allow whatever that was best for my son to happen and obviously this was his decision. Thanks for allowing me to vent.

Anyway, I did finish another card for today.  This is my last Patriotic, Red,white and Blue card for The Outlawz PAM group Challenges for their 2000 party. I used these awesome diecuts again from K & Company and added stickles glitter glue along the edges. I found this pleated ribbon on clearance at Joanns the other day, used a Cuttlebug star embossing folder and addes a couple white star brads to the upper corners. That was it!

  19. My gosh, you have had a terrible time of it recently. I hope that your son is able to come to terms with the loss of his beloved school, and I hope great and quick healing comes to your mom. I think you're going to need a vacation after all of this too.

You wouldn't know by your lovely card that you were in the midst of all of this and I thank you for sharing your creativity with us at Opus Gluei. This is wonderful in its cheerful and vibrant vibe. It really has a terrific pop with the colors and the embellishments - love the texture of the stars from the embossing folder. Take care and all the best to you. If you need a craft break, check us at Opus Gluei again!
