Hunting Season

     Well with Deer Season being right around the corner and that all i hear about from my boys, i thought that this card would be appropriate. This is a special image made by Dearie Dolls Digi stamps for me by request.  This lady is so awesome about taking suggestions and she is so generous with her work.  I didn't know that people like this still existed in the world today, but i'm sure glad that there are. This image is called "Deer Hunter" and you can find it HERE. My son (age 11) loves this card. He shot his first deer last year and cannot wait to get to the woods this one.LOL.

Halloween Mummy

 

I'm still loving these Digis from Dearie Dolls! I just can't stop making male cards now that i've started. LOL. You wouldn't believe the Male themed images that i have colored now and putting cards together.  I'm even surprising myself! This is all from 1 request for more masculine cards.. I've been shopping for more unusual things to put on Cards to. It's amazing what ideas that you can come up with if you step out of the comfort zone.

Last Scarecrow Using Dearie Doll image

     This is the last Scarecrow from Dearie Dolls that i've colored.  I just love these.  I colored this image with my copic markers and then cut it out leaving a little white along the edges.  I just love these fall inspired cards.

Girl in the Fluffy Snow

Surprise!!! another Dearie Doll image.  I know it wasn't a Surprise. I have fell in love with all ot these images and can't stop creating with them. LOL. I used my Snow writer from Marvy Uchida for the snow, but it is really hard to see on this white Cardstock in this picture. The Snow Writer is a lot like liquid applique in that you have to heat it to get it to puff. I colored this image with my Copic Markers. I had this gold mesh ribbon from last year at Christmas and i used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the snow border.  Spellbinders snowflake dies were used to create the Gold snowflake and Stampin'up Tag punches were used to mount the sentiment.

Another Fall Scarecrow

     This may be the last Scarecrow card that i make???.NOT!  I just love these Dearie Doll images so much, i just can't stop. Just wait until i get started on the Snowmen. LOL.
This one is called "Pilgrim Pumpkin ScareCrow" and of course i colored it with my copics. Fall just makes me wanna keep going. I used paper from a Recollections stack that i have, zig zag orange ribbon from my stash,Cobwebbing from the Dollar tree, Crow sticker, Tag from stash, Copic markers to color, sentiment from Stampin up and zigzag and black ribbon from stash..

Happy Anniversary Scarecrow Couple

Christmas in August

I can't believe how fast the time has gone.  It will be Christmas before you know it.  So, today i made a Christmas card using another Dearie Dolls image called "Caroling Couple"The Sketch comes from the Christmas challenge that i didn't get to enter because my card wasn't blue in color, DP from Hobby Lobby stack, Ribbon from stash, Flower soft for snow, Sentiment and Music notes from a Clear stamp set from Recollections, Poinsettia sticker and the image was colored with Copic markers.

 

 

I used the sketch for The Christmas Card challenge and then realized it had to blue so my card doesn't qualify.Darn it!

I just love FALL and Pumpkins and ScareCrows!

     Fall is my favorite season! I love all of the Beautiful colors, the smells, just everything! I guess that we won't be having the smell of smoke from the fire pit though.  We are still under a burn ban. Hopefully that will be lifted so that we can have a Fall Party and Weiner Roast for the kids.
     Today i've decided to use another awesome Dearie Doll image.  I tell you this lady gives the Best freebies ever and they are so much fun to color. If you haven't ever gone to her site, YOU SHOULD! She also has some wonderful poems that she has written to go with her stamps. I used my new Jeepers Creepers paper stack from The Paper Studio, Colored the digital stamp with Copic Markers, added a raffia bow,silk leaf and some awesome die Cuts from Kandcompany that i found on clearance at Hobby Lobby the other day.  Why they had clearance Halloween/Fall things on clearance is beyond me, but it worked to my benefit.

Red, White and Blue with Dearie Doll

     Isn't this digital stamp fabulous? It was FREE from The Dearie Dolls Blog. She has some wonderful digis to give away.  You need to check them out if you haven't already. I colored this one with my Copic Markers. I added Mesh ribbon, A banner stamp (Studio G), Stickles Glitter Glue, Stampin'up Sentiment and paper that i found in stash.
     Last evening was our big chance for rain and we never received a drop again where i live. Some parts of Southern Indiana got 2 inches and i couldn't even get a Sprinkle. At least it won't be over 100 degrees again today. This hasn't been my favorite summer so far. It's even been too hot for the pool. I'm really getting tired of watering everything all of the time.
