Watermelon Mayzy Card

I finally finished coloring this awesome free digi that i received from Through the craftroom magazine. It was created by Mayzy Art stamps. I just love these stamps! This one is called "Watermelon". The challenge this time at Copic Markers Europe #6 is to use the colors of Summer.

Copics used: RV21,23,25,29- B21,23 and 24- Y2,4 and 8- E 00,01,02,21,23,25- G7 and G12.

Sweet Summertime at the OUTLAWZ Friday

Guess who has been asked to be Guest Designer for THE OUTLAWZ COPIC CHALLENGE GROUP THIS MONTH? Yes, that's right! ME. The challenge this week is "SUMMERTIME". Create a card using summer something; Image, Colors, Flowers etc.... you get the idea. Here is my inspiration using another Mayzy Art Digi. Does this look familiar to some? It is one of the digi's that you receive free for subscribing to the magazine "Through the Craftroom Door " What says summer more than Strawberries?
I colored this wonderful image using my Copic markers, of course. Her dress and bows were colored using YG21,23,25 also Y11,13, 15,18. For her hair i used E02, 11,13,15, 18 and skin E00,01,02. The strawberries were colored with R22,R24,G21, G24 and the Basket E31,E33,E35. The shoes the N group. The Strawberry paper and Button(dress it up) i bought at JOAnns and this awesome strawberry ribbon i found at Michaels. The sentiment comes from Whimsy stamps.

Mayzy AMAZES me!

I didn't want to miss out on participating in the first MayzyArt Challenge. If you follow my blog you know that i really like these stamps and the price is right! The challenge you ask? "May Flowers". I used the digital stamp called "Rosebud the Fairy". I colored her up using my Copic markers in the Y group today. This is not generally a color that i often choose to use, so i thought that i needed the practice and i was going to use it. lol.
I'm taking my daughter and one of her friends shopping today. They don't Mall shop, they horse shop! We are planning on going to 2 tack shops today. My son is at his Grandparents today. He is celebrating the end of school by moving in with my parents for a few days. They are happy to have him and i'm happy that he gets to go. LOL

Mermaid

I've been looking for "different" things that i can do for cards. Sometimes i think that i get in a rut and never do anything different. This card is a little unual. I decided to use stamens from flowers to make it look like plants in a row at the bottom of this card and use Raffia to create a bush. I'm always looking for new and fun textures. I think that this is a little different and i really like it! Other misc... items include Mayzy stamp called Seafoam the Mermaid, Copic markers, Paperclip, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Stickles, DP from Provo Craft, and the sentiment from Whimsy Stamps..

Sweet little Lady

I spent most of the day on Saturday getting Design team cards completed. I always like to be ahead of the game and not wait until the last minute because then i get "Card Block". Yes, it is made up problem, but i hate it when it happens to me. I think that i stress myself out thinking "I've got to get this done" that i have no ideas. I hope that no one else has this problem. lol. Sunday was Mothers day and i spent my time at Church and the Horse barn. My kids did get up and make me a traditional special Breakfast.

I decided to use another Mayzy art design today. Isn't she the Cutest?? I colored her with my copic markers. The paper is from Provo Craft, Spellbinders dies, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Flowers-Paper studio and Making memories. The sentiment is a Whimsy stamp.
