Finally, after all of these weeks of working on our Schools auction, it is over. What a relief! It turned out wonderfully. We made over $16,000.00 from many generous donors. We had Miss.America 2009, Katie Stam speak and we had a great presentation by a chalk artist. We sold a total of 144 baskets in the silent auction and 54 items in our live auction. Everything worked perfectly. The highlight of the night for me though was when one of our 3rd graders donated to make 6 dozen of homemade cookies to sell and it brought in $600. How Awesome is that? God really blessed this event.
Anyway, i hope to get back into the card mode this week. I'm not sure that i remember how to make one now that it has been so long.
